PREGO SEM ESTOPA

Well hello there! Thought you might enjoy this fun space decked out in heavenly lattice and a bright color palette of white, green and pink. I really wanted to know what Prego Sem Estopa means, so I tried my luck on Google Translate. It came back as “Brad tow” which makes even less sense to me. I asked my Brazilian friend, and she informed me that prego means nails, so I’m guessing it means something like nails and fabric. If you know what it means, please let me know in the comments or on my Facebook, I’m dying to know!!! Okay enough about the name, let’s look at more pretty pictures:

PREGO SEM ESTOPA

I believe this is the reading/work lounge of a hotel, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it as home office inspiration, right? Ana Cordeiro, the designer used a vibrant green lattice wallpaper in this room. The potentially overwhelming pattern is perfectly calmed down by simple shapes and a whole lot of white. For that extra layer of fun, she repeated the lattice pattern in accent pillows and the gorgeous room dividers.

Flanking each side of the desk is a pretty bookcase. We love some good bookcase decor around here, so let’s take a closer look at both:

To the right is a pretty bookcase vignette including books, silver vases and yellow accents.

And tho the left she continued the theme of white and green. I believe this is the first bookcase home bar I’ve ever come across, and I really love it. Great idea for a small space? I think yes!

  3. i absolutely love green. This is fabulous, such a sense of order, peaceful with a pop.

  4. What an amazing design. This retro, yet modern, and minimalist design captures both a throwback feel and one of a new age. The attention to detail and placement of objects really catches your eye.
