Purple Living Room!

This purple living room is the lovely work of  interior stylist Emily Henderson of HGTV’s Secrets From a Stylist.

*

She picked a lovely plum paint color for the walls. To lighten the overall atmosphere of the room, she installed white baseboards and light drapery.

*

Aren’t the rustic elements in this living room just lovely? I think it makes such a cozy atmosphere.

*

The paint color is BM Vintage Charm. (Looks so different on the wall, huh?)

Recognize the fabric? It’s called Swan Lake, you can get more info in this previous post ;)

*

I love how Emily contrasts rustic finishes and natural elements with clean lines and shiny chrome finish.

*

Love the antler, I recently brought home a pair from a flea market.

The chrome and glass bar cart is fully stocked and ready to go. I’d mix myself one of these:

Looks delish! Click here for the recipe ;) Have a great weekend my Friends!

  3. This is really pretty. I don’t usually love purples, but I might need to reconsider! Have a great weekend my friend!

  4. Great look…feels more stylish than styled if you know what I mean.

  5. pretty! i’m actually debating using lavender in my living room, but not on my walls–just for fabric options. i’d love to get a closer look at that tv & what it looks like with the bookshelf combo from the front, too. looks like i need to set my tivo… :)

    happy labor day, linda!

  6. This is really lovely! I have always avoided purple decor as I think it can look cold, but I love the plum with warm wood furniture. Not so keen on the curtains though.

  7. I love how she warms up the space with all the wood. She never fails to perform design miracles!

  8. I never comment (I suck) but I wanted to just pop in and let you know I appreciate your blog and I absolutely love it. Thank you!
