Grasscloth Wallpaper

The girls of Waterleaf Interiors designed this tiny but stunning home workspace. The wall looks to be covered in grasscloth wallpaper, which is beautifully contrasted by the black desk and frames. For extra luxury they added a glass top to the desk. The beautiful details of the bamboo chair come to life with a coat of turquoise paint, a color that is repeated in the coral wall art flanking the window. The wooden blind finishes the nature inspired look of this home office.

In this photo by Keith Scott Morton we have another example of grasscloth wallcovering paired with turquoise. Here too, the design is contrasted with deep black accents and finished of with a wicker type coffee table.

Here is another home office with grasscloth wall covering, designed by Elaine Griffin. Black plays a major part in this room too, but the accent color is bright green. I adore all of these three spaces, what do you think?

I think these wallcoverings can be very effectfull in the right interior. What I do like even more is the green chairs, I love the color!

I love neutrals more than life itself and a neutral with texture, well that is just my idea of HEAVEN! I LOVE how black just pops against that grasscloth – and the green chair in the third image, gorgeous! I wish I had a remnant of this wallcovering – I’d do an accent wall or cover some magazine boxes, or the interior of a tray…I better go peek online and see if some soul is selling whats left of their roll….Thanks so much for sharing the pictures, as always I just LOVE all of the design inspiration you share!

I love grasscloth! And these are all such lovely examples, don’t you love the texture they bring to a space? Did you happen to catch the final episode of Sarah’s House 3?? She used grasscloth in the hallways of the home with wainscotting on the lower half of the wall and I just thought it looked stunning! Thanks for sharing these photos!
