The Purple Wallpaper Saga

May 30, 2010 in Art deco, Home office, Hottest Designers, Purple, Wallpaper / Tiles / Murals

Sooo, I was peeking into photographer Michal Venera’s incredible online portfolio and came across this:

*

modern home office purple lilac blue and green with purple curtains and blue lily wallpaper

That wallpaper haunts me (in a really good way) and should probably be on my top 10 design inspiration list. I’ve featured this room before, it is designed by Caitlin Moran.

Also, actress Molly Sims has this wallpaper in her home office which was designed by Kishani Perera, which also used it in this home office (it might be Molly’s, I’m not sure).

So many links, so little time =)

Now that all the loose ends are tied neatly together, I’m just missing one thing: Where can I get that wallpaper??? Anyone know? And what is it with this wallpaper that makes it end up in home offices? I have a feeling this is a wallpaper that you either love love love or hate hate hate. Which side are you on?

UPDATE: Kelly of Design Ties whipped up the wallpaper source in a second, it is available at Cole and Son! Thank you again Kelly!!

  1. I love this wallpaper from Cole & Son, I have another wallpaper from one of their collectins in our dining room.

  2. You know I really love it best in with the Perera images with the blue chair and black framed pieces. I think it would also be fabulous in a powder room!

  3. LOVE IT!! In fact, I posted about this room a while back on our blog :-) I seem to recall Colin & Justin using this wallpaper (or something similar) on an episode of Home Heist. I’ll see if I can find the source for you….
