Glam Grass and Liquid Metal Wallpaper– Yes Please!

This amazing dining room is designed by Atmosphere Interiors, and is the epitome of contemporary traditional (in my mind at least :). The traditional wainscot, heavy hardwood floors and the classic toile fabric provides the traditional part, while lovely metallic grasscloth wallpaper and bamboo is as chic as it gets.

The wallpaper is Phillip Jefferies Glam Grass in colorway French Alps Chalet. The drum shade pendant lamp is Sausalito, available at Horchow.

Coffiner Ku Design used the same wallpaper in this living room, which was part of the Kips Bay 2010 Showhouse.

Here’s a few jewels form the Glam Grass collection, available at Phillip Jeffries.

Interior designer Elsa Soyars used another version of the metalic grasscloth wallcovering in the Old Westbury Gardens Designer Showhouse.

Elsa took metallics to the max in this showhouse by combining silver, gold and mirrored surfaces. The result is a little magical!

The wallpaper Elsa used is the Metallic Paper Weave in colorway Aluminum, available in many lovely (metallic) colorways at Phillip Jeffries. And this my friends, is the interior designer’s version of the periodic table.

Metallic gold would be my pick but at the same time I love the one they used in the pics. It is just gorgeous, gorgeous! I love how they mixed it with the mirrored furniture and decor.

This is better than putting a fully glass wall. Less glaring & obvious stains. Other than earth colour nice too!
