Oh how I love a beautiful dark wall contrasted with white. The extra spark added by silver, gold and mirrored accents really makes this living room a dream come true. It’s the home of Janet, who is part of the Heather Garrett Design team.

This room is so simple but layered at the same time. Clean shapes and colors are softened by interesting patterns, beautiful texture and shiny surfaces.

The entryway is a perfect example of how classic elements can be mixed with natural ones. LOVE the coral lamps! What do you think?

Pretty :-) Love the chandelier and the tufted ottoman and the wall colour. I can envision the room with different coloured cushions to change things up whenever the mood hits :-)

The coral Lamps are beautiful!, I love the framed art around them, too. And the angle of the photo makes it so interesting.

That’s one good looking wall color and it looks great with the lightly colored furniture. I’m really loving that chandelier and the entry way is just gorgeous.

The designer of this room has worked very careful with the color scheme he/she choose.
The size of the room is rather small and usually darker wall colors would make the room seem even smaller but not in this case.
The selection of the used contrast colors e.g. for the furniture and decorative accents in gold and white is just excellent.
Like the title of your post is saying, Clean Layers – and still just beautiful!
