MEGAN WINTERS

You know when you just stumble across a photo of a beautiful space, and you just NEED to see what the rest of the home looks like? This was the case when I first saw this room. Luckily I did manage to track down the designer behind this beauty, and her name is Megan Winters. Let’s take a little tour, shall we?

The traditional bone structure didn’t stop Megan from covering the entire entry and stairway in a bold zebra stripe wallpaper. Talk about confidence! The result speaks for itself =)

A pair of roman statues greets you in the entryway, leading into the living room. The zebra wallpaper gives you a little taste of what’s to come.

The living room continues the simple color palette of white, black and gold. Yet simple isn’t the right word to describe this room. Megan plays heavily on contrasts, layers and scale. I love it!

Beautiful prints covers the entire home, even the cabinets are bejeweled. Great idea or what?!

Notice how everything in this room is of classic design, it’s just the way it’s put together that creates the modern atmosphere.

You can find a lot more inspiration and sources in her shop too. Hope you enjoyed =) xox Linda

  1. Wow it’s been a long time since I’ve been here and I’m so glad I’m here! Black and white decor has always been one of my favorites but I especially love it with the gold. It’s so rich and elegant and reminds me of old world Hollywood!

  2. This is a very stunning home. You can’t beat a high contrast colour scheme that is accented with gold.

  3. Linda this space literally just gave me chills!! Thanks for sharing this!!

  4. Her black and gold living room is stunning. I’ve had a few of those images in my archives for a while now. I like the usage of cream sofas because it’s not as stark as black and white. More warm and inviting.

  5. Maybe to classic for me but I think it’s a stunning space!
Love the wallpaper, the cabinets and the cristal chandeliers.

  6. Oh my gosh..that wallpaper is amazing! without it that room would be just blah. I have the same look on the floor of my office! ‘;)
