This vibrant library was a part of the Cathedral Antiques Show’s inspiration house. Interior designer Lindsey Coral Harper (HUGE fan of her work!!) used the amazing ink blot rug as a starting point for the room. Picking a bewitching purple from the rug, Lindsey has the floor-to-ciling bookcases transformed from traditional beauties to high gloss masterpieces.
PS: the paint color is Benjamin Moore Mulberry ;-)

Lindsey framed ink blots and mounted them directly onto the bookcases. I LOVE art mounted on bookcases, it’s all about layering baby! That’s affordable (and very doable) art right there.

Side table details. Judging from the theme of the showhouse, I’m guessing these are all antiques.

A bar tray is a quick and easy way to add a touch of glamour to a room. Think J.R. Ewing.

Really gorgeous! That’s not a color I would think of using for my home, but in this space it is amazing!

Love the color…so bold and fierce! As much as I love white, you can’t be afraid to experiment with a little color.
