This photo has been sitting in my inspiration folder for a long time, and I was thrilled to finally get to see the rest of this space (as I usually am). This living room is part of Interior Designer Sarah Davison’s Sydney apartment, and as you will soon discover, it’s filled with personal treasures.

According to Design Sponge, who wrote a lovely article on Sarah’s home, the pillow covers are made out of sarong fabric. Two thumbs up for creativity! And as a complete sucker for natural decor, I can’t help but love the quartz minerals, clam shells, corals and flowers displayed throughout Sarah’s home. So beautiful.

Breaking up a room with an interesting shape is a great way to add a focal point. Sarah did exactly that by placing an oversized circular mirror above her sofa.

Don’t you just love old glass bottles? We have an identical one, hubby uses it to store rain water for his carnivorous plants (cute, I know =)

The hand painted chinoiserie screen adds to the natural glamour of Sarah’s apartment.

My favorite part of Sarah’s entire apartment is her moody Bill Henson cut-screen photograph. Perfection!
