A Long Time Favorite of Mine

This home is one of my absolute favorites- ever. It’s HGTV’s 2009 Green Home, and I have never been able to forget it. It’s all about the natural touches, the tropical vibe and the beautiful pops of color. Here are three of my favorite rooms:

Designer Linda Woodrum says this of the tropical elements : “You are looking for decor items that reference the region, without being so destination-specific that they are clichéd.” -Exactly!

The pair of tangerine chaises is my absolute favorite feature of the lounge area. Love the pillows too, and it all ties perfectly in with the art print.

The dining room is filled with green leafy plants.

The greenery is even extended onto the dining table. Love the creative decor.

This is the entry- which you have probably seen before. It’s been making the rounds on the internet for years now, and I am not surprised.

I love how its all combined seamlessly ,the pieces of nature and some vintage touches around as well… looks very cozy… A piece like this http://brabbu.com/casegoods/sequoia.html would also fit in this space very well! i love your blog and posts!

The lounge area looks awesome with the beautiful sofa and the pillows. The color combination is perfect and gives an artistic look to the room. The mirrors and the dining area decorations are completely modern and trendy. The whole design is amazing and the best I have ever seen.
