I was first introduced to Fiona Douglas‘ work on Design Sponge in January, and after reading the latest issue of Adore Home, I am officially in love with her flower fabrics.
*
The color palette of Fiona’s living room is so fresh and lovely. The paint color corresponds to Benjamin Moore’s Blueberry Hill. Such a deep and fresh shade of blue.
*
Fiona even displays her beautiful floral fabric as artwork!

I’m dreaming of topping of my soon to be completed sofa with one of these babies. The blue one on the left is on sale right now ;)
*
Fiona’s bedroom is a summer bliss, layered with her beautiful flower fabrics everywhere.
*
More flower beauty. These irises are painted by Christopher Ryland. So pretty!

When I get something on my mind, I always keep seeing it everywhere. Here are some of my favorites.

Aeonium Fabric by Missoni
More gorgeous floral fabrics. The one above belongs in a frame.
*
Passiflora Fabric by Missoni
A more jazzy version. Which one do you prefer (if any), this one or the former?

If I am not mistaken, I believe Target has introduced some floral pillows in their laster collection. Be sure to check that out.

I am not a huge floral person but there are some very intererting florals above and in the right room and in just the right dose a floral can be quite lovely…beautiful! Happy Easter….

Oh wow, these floral fabrics & designs are gorgeous! I LOVE all the cushions on Fiona’s bed, and the piece of fabric as artwork is amazing – the pompoms are the perfect finishing touch :-)
Happy Easter!

I love Fiona’s wallhanging but they don’t ship it oversea and it’s limited :(
I think both versions work well depending on your design.

If these florals don’t say SPRING, I don’t know what does! I love them all, the saturated jewel tones are so so pretty!!

What a great post Linda! I love these modern florals….a far cry from the pink and purple floral wallpaper (and purple shag rug I might add) of my childhood bedroom! Thanks for showing how florals can be cool again!
