This chic living room is the work of the incredibly talented interior designer Ashley Whittaker:

This white living room is accented with turquoise and cerise, and totally reminds me of Dagny of Scandinavian Chic‘s living room (and blog design for that matter). I love how Ashley picked a very soft turquoise hue for the shelf and made it all pop with the cerise and contrasting black. Also, I’m loving the natural accents she placed in the shelf like crystals, seashells and corals.

We don’t get to see all the pretty colors from this angle, which almost makes it look like a different room. Of all things I’m loving the gold lamp cord.. haha! It looks so strict and clean. Also, notice the beautiful Greek key lining on the sofa skirt.

Ashley is not afraid to mix metals, as seen here with the silver tray. LOVE the purple peony bouquet, my favorite flower (which I can finally remember the name of =)

It’s so fascinating to look into the homes of the rich and famous, as they have all the means to create the perfect home. This time we’ll take a look into actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s Long Island home. Here we go:
*
This is our actress in her gorgeous living room. Gwyneth obviously like her home light and classic with pops of pastels. On a side note, I adore her dress!
*
A beautiful pale gray damask wallpaper graces the entryway and staircase. Black accents and chrome finishes adds a modern touch to the classically beautiful space.
*
The artwork is by Ann Carrington, and it’s made out of shiny ivory buttons!

This dining room is the epitome of simple romantic design. The Swarovski blossom chandelier is available here for those of you who can afford it. It’s only $27,350.00.

BEST HOME NEWS / HEADBOARD / PILLOW / BUTTERFLY PILLOW
This is Gwyneth’s daughter Apple’s bedroom. In keeping with the rest of the house, this bedroom is light and airy, with splashes of fuchsia for a girly princess look.
*
The kitchen has matte black cabinets and beige tiling, and a pair of white chandeliers brings on the glamour.

I recently discovered textile designer Anette Tatum. I love these three designs Anette did for her celebrity clients Marcia Cross and Minnie Driver.
*
Marcia Cross‘s lilac and white twin nursery:

Soft lilac and white nursery with butterfly mobiles and princess veil over each bed. Anette writes more about this nursery here.

Minnie Driver‘s turquoise hollywood nursery:

This is so bright and fun! I get a circus vibe from the valances and color theme!
*
Minnie Driver‘s yellow and white Malibu nursery:

*

This super soft yellow and white nursery is too pretty! Love the polar bear rocking horse and the pretty skirts on the shelves over the changing table. Read more about Minnie’s nurseries here.

All photos from one of my favourite sites House to Home!
This summer house is an eye candy explosion of pretty pastels. Combinations of white with pink, blue and yellow are the seen throughout this home.
*
The darling pink, white and blue living room. This is patterns done good! The sofa has the largest pattern, containing all three colors of the room. From here, the colors and patterns radiate throughout the room.
*
White, yellow and blue lounge. Takes a lot of courage to buy a yellow sofa with large sailboat pattern..
*
The beautiful white, pink and blue patio. Complete with anchors and lobsters.
*
A nautical themed entry, with polished compass floor and a globe map table. Even the stair rail is a lighthouse!
*
