This gorgeous living room is designed by Kwinter & Co. The walls are all white, softened with gray and beige and contrasted with dark brown.

This room contains two distinct but integrated conversation areas. The two orbit chandeliers makes such a beautiful statement in this room, don’t you think?

*

Here’s a peek into the dining room.

*

How beautiful is this photo? Clean, simple and classic. Love the use of winged chairs at the ends of the table.

*

The crystal lining of the beautiful cream drapes is my favorite detail in the entire house.

This bedroom, also a Kwinter design, is part of Westchester Designer Showhouse. Click here if you want to see the rest of this bedroom ;)

I absolutely adore this light pretty living room. It’s designed by Kathleen Hay, you can see more of her beautiful work in here.

I LOOOVE the living room of Melissa Warner, one part of the design trio Massucco Warner Miller. Her home was featured on House Beautiful a while ago, and I couldn’t help featuring it here in case any of you haven’t seen it yet (and If you have seen it, it doesn’t hurt seeing it again, right?)

*

It’s all about the details, and Melissa’s home is a great example of that. The blue sofa is a vintage find. Aren’t the circle pillows awesome? Adds such beautiful texture.

*

Love how she adds color in fun ways like here; through candy and peaches. Do you ever try to match what you serve with your decor? (I have to admit I sometimes do)

*

I love the shell lamp on her desk (which is skirted and has a glass top!!). Jonathan Adler has a similar lamp in his collection.

*

Melissa shares some great advice on colors in the HB interview, it’s definitely worth a read.

*

Wall color is BM Soft Chamois. Keeping the walls pale, add blues, orange and pink. Balance the bright colors with white. Be on the lookout for fun showstopping pieces and exciting patterns.

*

Circle Pillow, Orange Ikat Pillow, Blue Artwork, Coffee Table, Zebra Chair, Blue Table Lamp, Quarz Votive,

Beat this: that coffee table is only $504.00 at the CSN Stores! You can see the rest of Melissa’s home (her bedroom is really awesome!) and read the accompanying interview on House Beautiful.

Frank Roop has been in my radar for years now, I just adore his confident sense of style and use of bright colors.

*

Frank is huge on using horizontal stripes on the bottom of the curtains in his designs. I think this will be the solution to my “honey I shrunk my curtains” problem.. Now what color?

*

I love a dramatic piece of art on the wall behind the sofa. For a free standing sofa or one that is placed in front of a window like this, a console table is a great alternative, don’t you think? Love his coastal vignette and the crystal table lamps!

*

We can’t leave out the coffee table details, can we?

*

Nice coffee table decor with Frank’s signature pops of color and lovely corals.

Here’s a lovely color combination for you;  silvery pearl gray with indigo and blue. We have seen a lot of neutrals combined with punches of warm color, so this combination of only cool colors is quite refreshing, don’t you think? I can only describe this room as refined glamour. I’m sure many of you have seen it before, and already know it’s designed by the one and only Windsor Smith.

Sconce, Horn votive holders, Mirrored tray, Indigo velvet pillow, Ivory velvet pillow

I’ve been seeing that gorgeous wallpaper everywhere lately, but always in other color schemes. It’s hand pained of course, the traders can be contacted here =)

*

I’m really fascinated by the fact that Windsor chose to place the two sofas back-to-back instead of facing each other. This way she created two individual seating areas in one living room, as opposed to one conversation area. Very interesting, has anyone seen this type of arrangement before? And would you ever do this in your own home?

Caldwell Flake is the mother and daughter design team behind this fabulous bedroom. At first glance this is a pretty clean and simple room, but when we take a closer look:

*

We can see how big a role texture plays. Shiny pearl headboard combined with white cotton bed linen, topped with silver faux alligator skin pillows. How fabulous!

*

Modern and classics effortlessly combined.

Beautiful living room, isn’t it? Love the moulding and the blue and gold together. But most of all, love the velvet!
