I just couldn’t help myself featuring another one of Ashley’s amazing works. This guest bedroom is such an unusual beauty. Dark, clean and minimal, this bedroom appeals to both sexes. The leather upholstered beds ads a masculine touch, along with the rich brown paint. As dark colors must be balanced with light ones (unless you aspire to live in a dungeon), there’s no better way to go than white. The fitted table skirt covering the bedside table is one of my favorites (see lot’s of evidence here ;-). And yes, the leopard print pillows are definitely the icing on this delicious chocolate cake.

LEOPARD ACCENT PILLOW / ASHLEY GOFORTH
Reading the specifications on this leopard accent pillow made me giggle: “spot clean only”. Alrighty then.. =)

This living room had me at hello. Gorgeous much? Notice the way Ashley Goforth combines traditional with contemporary. The antique (looking) chairs and the skirted round table forms such an interesing contrast to the minimalistic lucite table. The mirror on mirror is a tend we have seen a lot of lately, see here and here =)
Ever asked yourself what Swedish clothing chain H&M would carry if they started designing home decor? If so, you are looking at the answer! In case you didn’t know, H&M sells home decor in many countries (mostly Nordic). You can check out the entire stock on the Swedish website.
LYNN MORGAN DESIGN / STRIPE / CORAL
Remember THIS home designed by Lynn Morgan? Well here’s another favorite amongst her work. She started with a crisp white base and layered black to balance out the visual weight of the fireplace, and popped it all with coral pink. The stark color contrast is underlined by the strict symmetry and hard edges. A bit Scandinavian if you ask me =)
VIDEO VIA LXTV
What a strike of luck! I didn’t really have time to blog today, so when this video popped up in my inbox, I was pretty pleased =) So in case you hadn’t seen it yet: here’s Jamie Herzlinger‘s tips on how to pick the right headboard height. xox Linda
I’m loving the fun patterns and happy color palette of this pretty bedroom. It’s the work of Vanessa De Vargas of Turquoise LA.

Vanessa is known for her striking color palettes, often using strong colors like pink or red to pop on a cool blue backdrop. Love the quatrefoil trellis wallpaper in the bookshelf too, very eye catching!

A feminine curvy mirror takes the spotlight in this super simple, but very pretty vignette. In the office space to the right you can see another one of Vanessa’s specialties: framed fabric art. Simple to make, cost effective and very pretty =) A few sources after the jump!
