Home Office – Glam meets Rustic

Hi there! How have you all been? I have had to keep myself away from the world of blogging for a while. You see, about a month ago, we decided it was time to start house hunting. A month and a whole lot of paperwork and phone meetings later, we are now officially
house owners (YAY!!). Exchange of keys will take place a month from now, and I’m going crazy with excitement. Can’t wait to share the renovation/ decoration process =) Now, I’m absolutely thirsting for design inspiration, so let’s start of with this amazing home office designed by Bryan Patrick Flynn:

If you follow HGTV’s Design Star, you might recognize this home office. It’s the office of Bruce Jenner’s assistant, and it’s FAB! Mixing purples with metallics and mirrored furniture is a sure way to get the glam factor. My favorite part of this space is the rustic writing desk. It’s such an unexpected element, and it takes the space to another level. Oh- and I need that alligator rug!!
