As I completely missed the Halloween train this year, I’ll try to make it up with some pretty fall decor. Let’s start with the photo above, isn’t the color palette of green and brown just lovely? You can see more lovely fall decor photos on Anna Malin’s blog Helt Enkelt.
Designer Therese Jacinto created this beautiful green and brown fall centerpiece. I would never have thought of combing succulents and pine cones, but when I see this, it makes so much sense. The shapes are so similar?!

Notice how Therese created class bells out of green bottles. You can see and read more about this amazing fall centerpiece on Therese’s blog.

Katie Miller of Little Things Bring Smiles created this amazing acorn wreath, and topped it off with a brown ribbon. You can see more photos on her blog, where she also shares a great acorn wreath tutorial.

A pretty fall inspired bedroom with seagrass wallpaper and lovely touches of burnt orange. I wonder if those framed leaves are real or not?

To me the change of season really takes place when Pottery Barn update their website. Pathetic I know. Here’s my basic decorating checklist for fall season:

1. Candles! As the days grow shorter and darker, I pull out all my candle holders and spread them across my home. A pair of votives here, a candelabra there, candles everywhere! My favorite this year? Lanterns!

2. Throws! With the change of season comes cooler weather (where I live at least). That’s when I pull out all my pretty throws and drape them across the sofa and armchairs. It’s all about creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Plus it’s functional!

3. The fall wreath is one of my seasonal must-haves. I’ve got all the ingredients, time to put it all together!

4. Branches! To really bring the season into my home I love placing branches with beautiful orange leaves in a tall vase. The taller the better in my opinion ;)

I’d love to know what your fall decor essentials are?!

*
This white and orange patterned loveseat looks so soft!

Brie, crackers and red whine, yum. Apparently, Fruits like apples and grapes are great decoration for a fall-themed table setting.

I love this autumn leaf wall!
What do you think, do you like it?
