Hello everyone! It’s been a while now, so let me explain what happened =) 3 days before my exam I get an email from my former blog host company, letting me know I have 4 days to relocate theLENNOXX to another hosting company, or get kicked off. Needless to say, I was stressed out! That’s what you get for doing well.

With the transfer halfway done, I left for a wedding in Greece, where I was the best maid. These gorgeous images are actually from the hotel where the wedding took place. This living room was absolutely stunning, pictures does not do it justice. The stone walls and floor combined with the yellow leather sofa and rustic lamp were simply perfect.
*

See how the neutral palette is spiced up with lime green and coral red pillows.
*

LOVE this photo. So charming.
*

This room is actually where the happy couple’s wedding night took place. The room is crisp white and all shelves and cabinets are built in concrete. That’s usually way too cold and modern to my taste, but the beige paint magically softened the look. Notice how the headboard is decorated with green bamboo stems. They were actually stickers, and made the room look really fresh and fun!
*

The refrigerator is covered up with a bamboo mat.
*

For good measure, the wedding ceremony took place poolside, to the right in this photo.
*

The dining area had a ceiling of grape vines. It was really gorgeous, except from a large beetle that came crashing down on the dining table hahaha!

All back and relaxed I feel more motivated than ever to bring you your daily dose of interior inspirations, so so come back tomorrow!

I love checking out hotel rooms (no pun intended) for design inspiration. Here are some ultra modern picks from the luxury hotel listing at Splendia:
*
Fuchisa and White:

White bedroom with Fuchsia carpet, curtains and feature wall.
*

Love the big floor mirror, even the frame is pink. And from the reflection in the mirror you can see the headboard is actually pink plexi glass.
*
Black and Gold:

This white bedroom has a gold leaf feature wall, and behind the bed is a shiny black headboard that extends to behind the bedside tables.
*

A closer look at the bed.
*

A black framed version of the floor mirror in the former room. This one even has sconces mounted on it.
*
White, Pink and Orange:

Pink and orange is usually one of my favorite color combos (aren’t they all?), but this one is a bit limp..
*

Curtains go all the way from ceiling down to the floor to make the room look taller.
*

I didn’t even realise the Barcelona chair came in orange!
*
*

White bedroom with a rich brown fond wall and a super tall orange padded headboard. The headboard is framed by two equally tall mirrors.
*

By the window is a tiny seating area with a round table and two classic chairs. The brown and orange upholstery on the chairs fits in perfectly with the room.
*

Master bathroom is all done in a black matte tile. The freestanding tub is back.
*

A sneak peek of the toilet and sink. All the mirrors are built into the wall with the tiles. Very simple.

*

Beautiful light blue and white bedroom. Love the textured carpet and heavy curtains!
*

But the best thing about this bedroom is the headboard. It goes all the way from floor to ceiling, and is just a white grid. The wall behind this grid is painted a deeper shade of blue to add some extra depth.
*

Beautiful gray tile bathroom. The counter is a deeper shade of gray, and floats between two walls. Sconces mounted on the mirror, and a classic bathtub with silver lion’s feet.
*

This would be the perfect two-bed guest bedroom!
*

Cozy living room in earth-colors.
*

Rattan outdoor furniture with cream fabric. Super simple and cozy!

If you are planning on decorating a fun theme room for your kids, look no further than to the Madonna Inn (discovered through Retro Renovation) for inspiration:
*
Each room is designed in a different theme. This is the Old Mill family room with two king sized beds and a hand painted mural. To read more about each room, click the pic!
*
Carin is the super girly all pink bedroom. Perfect for Barbie and Ken!
*
The Chestnut Foal is a green and brown horse themed room. Check out the Merry-Go-Round ceiling lamp!
*
This tyrian purple and burgundy red bedroom is accented with golden mirror frames and classic teardrop chandeliers. To achieve a baroque theme, go for regal colors and velvet (or velour). I would go for another color carpet though. This room is named Dez, and might not be suited for a kid, lol.
*
The Mountain view has a nice relaxed atmosphere with brown carpeting, green walls and a great white bed with some wild zebra prints!
*
Merry is a sparkling pink bedroom with chandeliers by the dozen.
Why not be inspired by this luxury hotel in Amsterdam:
*
A simple white and grey bedroom is made romantic with great table top lamps.
*
Black console and accessories makes a simple silhouette against this golden floral patterned wall.
*
A splash of red livens up this dusty brown nook.
*
The ultimate treat for the spa lover!
*
Cheers!
