Terracotta walls, leopard area rug on chevron floors, white tufted leather sofa and snake art. Could we expect less fabulousness from Choo mogul (lame pun very much intended ;-) Tamara Mellon?
This photo of TV personality Khloe Kardashian’s glamorous home office has been on my radar for some time now, and as I keep stumbling across more and more gorgeous photos, I feel it’s time to put them all together in a blog post :) Good idea, right?

I just adore this photo of fashion stylist and TV personality Rachel Zoe lounging in her her gorgeous sparkly dress. If I were to translate this photo into a room, It would be this one:

Grasscloth wallpaper, pops of sunny yellow, interesting patterns and a little bling on the glassware. I adore this room, it’s so… happy?! Do you like it?

This is the New York apartment of British born Guinness heiress Daphne Guiness. Designed by Daniel Romualdez, this apartment is a sweet union of nature and glamour. Just the way we (or at least I) like it.

With dark high gloss hardwood floors and a ceiling covered in shimmery wallpaper, the walls are painted a rosy shade of beige. Red accents adds a pinch of spice to this soft palette. Notice Daphne’s collection of crystals displayed throughout the room.

The opposite end of the same room features a mirrored wall and a cherry red velvet sofa. How lovely! I wouldn’t mind the David LaChapelle photograph either.

This floor-to-wall painting by British artist Damien Hirst took my breath away when I first saw it. Isn’t it lovely?
*
Hirst is the Artist who suspended a Tiger Shark in Formaldehyde (how do you feel about that?), I’m sure you have all seen it. His butterfly paintings are available here.

You can see the rest of Daphne’s beautiful apartment on Architectural Digest, included her “hall of mirrors” =)

Last night I came across this gorgeous living room on Veranda.com, and (as per usual) fell madly in love. As I got to reading the interview accompanying the beautiful images, I quickly realized it belonged to the one and only Jennifer Lopez. How interesting!

Jennifer’s home is designed by Michelle Workman, and now I have yet another designer crush. Isn’t this living room amazing? Michelle based the entire home on a color palette of grays subtly infused with color.

I would definitely say this is a glamorous home. So what makes it so glamorous? I believe it starts with the subtle color scheme, brought to life through luxurious velvet and silk fabrics and contrasted with curvy black details and shiny metals. Not to mention the classic furniture with modern twists, and the huge Art Deco influence.

A simple but beautiful vignette in the background. Fresh cut pink flowers are to be found throughout the entire house.

This little brass top hat-and-cane table actually turned out to be a champagne cooler. How fun is that?

Now onto Jennifer’s drop dead gorgeous dining room. Again we see the strong influence of Art Deco in the glass console table and the beautiful powder pink wallpaper.

Tufted velvet dining chairs with nailhead trim? Yes please!
*
Art Deco inspired Tulip Damask wallpaper by Cole & Son. The gold detail really makes this wallpaper come to life, don’t you think?

Blue is the choice color for the kitchen as well. I’d love to get a closer look at the tiles, they look so shiny and pretty. I’m guessing they are shell tiles?

This dining area is just too gorgeous for words. Love everything about it. So much lovely detail, and so perfectly combined.

Another beautiful seating area. The glam factor is upped with shiny chrome details paired with glass surfaces and sleek white furniture.

Now this is what I would call a gorgeous bedroom. Light, pretty and feminine. I’d love to use this BM Home Sweet Home paint color somewhere.

See how perfectly the wall color is picked from the stonework on the fireplace? Not that is how it’s done right!

This is the last picture, I swear! Hope you enjoyed another celebrity home tour, although it was the design itself which attracted me to these images, not the owner ;)

It’s always fun to get a sneak peek into the homes of the rich and famous, since they obviously have the means to create exactly what they want.

I like that they chose pink and green, instead of the traditional pink and blue color combination. Mariah obviously has a very feminine taste.

You can see Marcia Cross and Minni Driver’s nurseries here if you missed it ;)

Mariah hired legendary Interior Designer Mario Buatta to design her twin nursery, and he designed the rest of her home too. These images are from 2001, I’m guessing she has changed it up a bit in 10 years.

The lilac and cream color palette, combined with layered floral fabrics, prism lamps, potted plants, tassels and venetian mirror definitely underline Mariah’s feminine taste.

We have all seen Mariah’s ginormous walk-in closet (more like boutique), complete with a massive chandelier.

I love her star spangled tile floor. But I’m sure it’s not for everyone.

Our singer herself in her living room. What do you think, is Mariah’s decor style the way you imagined it to be?
