JL DESIGNS

This amazing tablescape designed by JL Design, is based on the concept of color blocking. This color palette of marine blue, white, coral and yellow is driving me crazy. So unusual, and so extremely pretty.

Green living room with a botanical vibe. I love how the candle holders are placed at different height among the plant pictures. Very unexpected!

Did you make a herbarium when you were a child? We used to put flowers and leafs in a book and leave it there til it was dry, then we framed them. It didn’t turn out nearly as pretty as those above, though.

emergency watering for your plants

I wonder if it really works.. would be great when going away for a few days.

Lets take a quick look at some ways to create that exotic room:

black and creme jungle theme living room with zebra print chair

This room is decorated by interior designer Ruthie Sommers.

black and white modern room

The essentials for creating this look is natural colors like beige and sands plus the black and white zebra print. Large wide-leafed plants fives the instant jungle look.

Having a clean and clutter free entry is a good idea, since it is usually the second impression a person gets of your home (the first is usually your garden etc). If you are looking for inspiration for an entry/hallway upgrade, look no further:

The Funky:

Black, White and Grey with a splash of Yellow. Those round mirrors gives me a serious flashback to this Jan van Eyck pic.

The Sophisticated:
