I happened to stumble upon this fantastic website called New England Home, and my jaw just dropped when I saw this living room. Designed by Morgan Harrison, this room exudes luxury and class. How about that mirrored feature wall? And the gold accents? Heavenly!

Hi guys! Thought I’d share a little sneak peek of a painting I’m working on at the moment.

The painting is inspired by the natural sedimentation layers of agate, and the color palette is a concoction of pretty pastels. I’m so into stripes and lines at the moment =)

At a size of approximately 38″ x 28″ / 35 x 70 cm, this painting is pretty large. Though it actually started out at twice the size. The intricate detail was too overwhelming on the huge canvas, so I simply cut it in two =)

My pretty pink lilies. They smell nice and look pretty, but the pollen leaves horrible yellow stains. When I know I’ll be moving the vase around a lot, I snip off the stamens. Anyone else do this? Looks prettier with the stamens intact though.

This wine decanter quickly turned into my favorite vase, the bouquet falls perfectly into place due to the shape of the vessel. I’ll post another photo when I’ve finished the painting. Have a great day friends! xox Linda

My friend Bess at Celadon & Celery Events emailed me these photos of a table setting she did for a client, and it’s too good not to share =) I just love how she put together all these simple items and turned it into a dreamy tablescape. So inspiring!
