This gorgeous bedroom is designed by John Willey Interiors:

The walls and carpeting are neutral. Blue is used as an accent color and is used everywhere throughout the room pulling it together.

Notice how all furniture in the middle of the room is of neutral color, while all furniture placed along the walls are dark stained wood. I think it works really well and adds great depth to the room.

Also, I love how a different fabric is used for the cushion and back of this sofa. What a great idea for changing up a furniture without having to reupholster it (which I believe is very hard?).
