I can’t help but adore this space. The antiqued mirror wall is created and installed by Subtle Finish. I love how the traditional base is transformed into a warm exotic space by layering warm colors and whimsical patterns and decor. That gold saber tooth tiger skull is awesome! xox Linda

I’m really interested to know what you guys think about this console table:

It’s called the Copake Eagle Console Table and is designed by the one and only Thom Filicia. I love the way this console table looks in this setting. The contrast of the console table to the rough seagrass wallpaper is gorgeous, and I love the dark rustic mirror and bottles.

I’ve become slightly obsessed with upholstered nailhead trimmed furniture. After reupholstering and trimming my antique piano chair today, my minor obsession definitely grew to a medium one. Did you ever try adding nailhead trim to anything? It’s seriously fun (have no idea why) and it looks so neat (well, that’s probably why)! Now I’m in total “what can I trim next” modus. Here’s some of my inspiration:

Burnham Design placed two gorgeous stools underneath this console table. They are of course upholstered and decorated with nail heads. Love it?

The nailhead trim is a classic on dining chairs, here seen in a chic black and white dining room designed by Kelly Hoppen.

This living room featured on Decorati showcases a red pouf side table with nailhead trim detail. I think this detail is pretty cute. What do you think?

I have a huge mirror above my sofa in my living room which has been nagging at me for a makeover (you know how mirrors are when they’re unhappy). I’m toying with the idea of adding some nailhead trim to it. I’ve never seen it done before, if you have, please send me a link! I’ll try and do a post on my piano stool makeover tomorrow ;)
