SUBTLE FINISH

I can’t help but adore this space. The antiqued mirror wall is created and installed by Subtle Finish. I love how the traditional base is transformed into a warm exotic space by layering warm colors and whimsical patterns and decor. That gold saber tooth tiger skull is awesome! xox Linda

Spring is Definitely In!

April 6, 2012 in Asian (Chinoiserie), Feminine, Hallway/Entry, Hottest Designers, Spring, Wallpaper / Tiles / Murals

TIMOTHY WHEALON
/ ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST

This entry is traditional meets contemporary – at it’s very best! Timothy played on the classic aspects of the room and jazzed it up with pops of mint green and fuchsia. The Chinoiserie inspired mural emphasizes the height of the room, while at the same time tying it all together. Insanely pretty! Happy Easter my Friends! Xox Linda

Pretty Blue and White

January 16, 2012 in Blue, Chic, Classic, Dining room, Hallway/Entry, Living room

DIANE BERGERON INTERIORS

Deep blue walls paired with lots and lots of shiny white is one of my favorite color schemes. These rooms have such a traditional look, but they all have elements that adds a contemporary edge. In the room above, silver details adds to the cool color palette while the bright orange details adds lots of warmth. The chevron rug doesn’t hurt either =)
