I can’t help but adore this space. The antiqued mirror wall is created and installed by Subtle Finish. I love how the traditional base is transformed into a warm exotic space by layering warm colors and whimsical patterns and decor. That gold saber tooth tiger skull is awesome! xox Linda

I’m loving this dramatic vignette. I often find black walls to look a bit flat, but this trellis wallpaper makes all the difference. I’s a play on textures, and it’s done (and captured) extremely well. Would you ever do black walls? I might after seeing this =) xox Linda

I first spotted the work of Interior Designer Eddie Lee in Lonny Magazine (June/ July issue), and I couldn’t get this beautiful living room off of my mind. The creamy whites combined with the various shades of blue takes me right back to the beach. Serene as the color palette may be, there’s something else that really caught my eye:

Hi there! How have you all been? I have had to keep myself away from the world of blogging for a while. You see, about a month ago, we decided it was time to start house hunting. A month and a whole lot of paperwork and phone meetings later, we are now officially
house owners (YAY!!). Exchange of keys will take place a month from now, and I’m going crazy with excitement. Can’t wait to share the renovation/ decoration process =) Now, I’m absolutely thirsting for design inspiration, so let’s start of with this amazing home office designed by Bryan Patrick Flynn:

If you follow HGTV’s Design Star, you might recognize this home office. It’s the office of Bruce Jenner’s assistant, and it’s FAB! Mixing purples with metallics and mirrored furniture is a sure way to get the glam factor. My favorite part of this space is the rustic writing desk. It’s such an unexpected element, and it takes the space to another level. Oh- and I need that alligator rug!!
