The Perfect Wallpaper -Source Located (!)-

April 1, 2013 in Wallpaper / Tiles / Murals

curvy swirly feminine wallpaper wallcovering glitter

Hi guys! I spotted this AMAZING wallpaper in a clothing store, and took these two snaps with my phone. -In the changing room, pretending to try on a dress. Forgot to turn off the camera sound. SO embarrassing. But never mind that, is there anybody out there who knows the name or brand of this wallpaper? I’ve looked high and low, but come up with nothing every time.

Traditional Coastal Beauty

September 14, 2011 in ART, Beige, Classic, Coastal, Hottest Designers, Living room, Luxurious, Soft and Light

Yet another interior designer has found her way into my heart, and this time it’s Christina Sullivan Roughan of Roughan Interior Design. I’m in total awe of this beautiful light living room. The balance between traditional and coastal is just sublime.

*

The color palette of beige, creams and blue is accented with chrome accents and bold patterns. The large sea life prints are undoubtedly my favorite feature of this room though, they are so unexpected and fun.

*

Cute sea life prints. What do you think?

Glam Grass and Liquid Metal Wallpaper– Yes Please!

September 6, 2011 in Classic, Dining room, Gray, Luxurious, Silver, Wallpaper / Tiles / Murals

This amazing dining  room is designed by Atmosphere Interiors, and is the epitome of contemporary traditional (in my mind at least :). The traditional wainscot, heavy hardwood floors and the classic toile fabric provides the traditional part, while lovely metallic grasscloth wallpaper and bamboo is as chic as it gets.

The wallpaper is Phillip Jefferies Glam Grass in colorway French Alps Chalet. The drum shade pendant lamp is Sausalito, available at Horchow.

Look for Less: Koi Wallpaper

August 20, 2011 in Asian (Chinoiserie), Bathroom, Bright, Brown, Look for Less, Natural, Orange, Powder Room, Wallpaper / Tiles / Murals

DAVID SCOTT / MARILI FORASTIERI

I’ve had a lot of questions about this koi wallpaper in the lovely powder room featured in this post. The wallpaper is obviously hand painted, which you can tell when there is no pattern repeat. I believe it’s from de Gournay (please correct me if I’m wrong), which means most of us can’t afford it.

*

Luckily I came across a more affordable version on Wallpaper Direct. What do you think? Is this a good alternative, or does the pattern repeat ruin the charm?
