This chic living room is designed by Alex Papachristidis and shot by Simon Upton for Elle Decor. It’s painted a cool airy tone of blue and heavily accented with contrasting warm gold and brass.
Something I find really appealing about this photo is the “unsymmetric symmetry”… All elements of the room are very ordered and symmetrically laid out, but at the same time it’s all a bit off.. ! Do you see it too? Fascinating and strangely appealing!

Yes, I see the unsymmetric symmetry too :-) Gives the room a feeling of casualness that it wouldn’t have if everything was perfectly symmetrical.
Brass & gold are really making a big comeback. Not sure if I can get on the brass bandwagon — I’ve been working at getting rid of the brass in our house for the last 9 years, and it still isn’t all gone!!

You are going to love your new iPhone, it´s the perfect toy! I havent tried the color system program because it´s not for free and I don´t think it´s good enought to pay for.
