It’s finally Friday! Let’s celebrate with some eye candy, shall we? This light and modern living room is designed by Caitlin Wilson of the Style Files, and photographed by Ashlee Raubach. Both girls are so amazingly talented: the interiors are splendid and the photography is perfection. Wouldn’t you agree?

This living room is all about light, bright and bold. With a crisp white background and sofa, Caitlin picked a graphical area rug to define the seating area. Pops of mustard yellow and blue toile adds a great dose of fun to the room, and isn’t it amazing what a pair of magazine stacks do for this space? So inventive. The black details of the rug is picked up in a sizable tray resting on a lucite coffee table, a pair of end tables and the graphic diamond pattern on the accent pillows. It’s the same fabric as the one in this bedroom, and very pretty it is.
